St Marks Square
This was the site of Lincoln's St Marks Station (closed 1985) and railway lines, now redeveloped into a retail complex. The buildings here are relatively new but feature railway-inspired architecture, eg the blue arches on the Debenhams to the right.
Lincoln is still connected by train, via Lincoln Central Station not far away.

Go Imps
Towards the right of the picture is Sincil Bank stadium, the home of Lincoln City FC aka the Red Imps. Lincoln drew at home yesterday putting them at 17th (of 24) in the Blue Square Bet Conference Premier league table.
In the foreground is South Common and the larger buildings in the middle distance are various non High St retail areas. The power stations in the distance are on the River Trent in neighbouring Nottinghamshire.

Tree Pano
I used Microsoft Image Composite Editor (ICE) (a free download) to stitch 3x3 wide angle photos of the trees in Saturday's Post. After stitching the result covers a viewing angle of 159 degrees wide by 89 degrees high.

Company Car
The letter Z distinguishes this Tattoo studio on Lincoln High St from Australia's island state.
I've noticed a few tattoo studios with interesting names. Is this just a local phenomenon?

Fifteenth Day
According to Wikipedia, today is The Lantern Festival which marks the end of the Chinese New Year Celebrations.
Today also marks 60 years since Queen Elizabeth II acceded to the throne following the death of her father, King George VI. Her coronation took place a few months later.

Snow
The country has ground to a halt today. It's the wrong type of snow.
