Looking towards Waterside North just west of Broadgate, Lincoln.
Broadgate (the A15) travels North-South across this bridge. I posted a photo looking North along Broadgate on 10th July 2013.
Central Lincoln is on the other side of Broadgate with the Waterside Shopping Centre and Empowerment sculpture coming into view immediately.

I've often wondered if this bridge has a local nickname, perhaps inspired by its elliptical shape (when viewed with its reflection). Couldn't find anything on the web about this.

On the left side of the river is the temporary outdoor ice skating rink and on the other side a Christmas tree is visible through the large window upstairs in the Waterside Shopping Centre.

Dry stone walls (ie lacking mortar to bind the stones) are typical of the Peak District in Derbyshire, as well as similar areas around the British Isles and Europe. (Photo from the archives).

Combining two photos is a thing - there are groups dedicated to it on flickr and smart phone apps that simplify the process.
The new incinerator is being put through its paces.
Bracebridge is in the foreground with North Hykeham behind.
Back in a familiar spot - last seen here in September. Some nice fiery reds and oranges developing while other trees have already returned to their winter plumage.

These trees are nearly bare while others still seem to have a full complement of green leaves.
