These small boats are used to tend crab pots out at sea.
The small tractor is driven far enough into the sea to launch the boat off the trailer.

In the summer, the sun sets into the sea in a North Westerly direction.

This walkway takes pedestrians from the pier and esplanade up to the level of the rest of the town.
This path runs along the tops of the cliffs all the way to the village of Overstrand.

Southwold
Southern beach, promenade and pier, Southwold, Suffolk.
Local brewer Adnams has named a pale ale after this lighthouse, which dates back to 1890.
This clock was built in 1998 as a feature about water recycling.
The clock springs to life on the hour and the half hour (as indicated by the clock, which may not be synchronised to local time!). Water animates the various (humorous) sculptures as demonstrated in this 2 minute video:

Cley-Next-The-Sea
The 18th century Cley Windmill, pictured, was once located on the sea, which is now now about a mile away due to land reclamation. The family of singer James Blunt owned the windmill until 2006 (source: Wikipedia).

This is the view over the marshes from the visitor centre. The wetlands attract a variety of birds and the centre has a large window, bench and binoculars for visitors' use. The building in the distance is on the beach.
