Those Trees
Those trees at the end of the permissive path, on the Viking Way. Last captured in late April when the branches and field were still bare.

New Hotel
This is the second big chain hotel to open in Lincoln in as many years (the other is the Hilton on the Brayford).
The building with turrets across the road isn't Lincoln Castle, but is the rear entrance to Lincoln Drill Hall (a theatre/entertainment/events venue). Lincoln Castle is in Uphill Lincoln not far from the Cathedral (centre of picture).

Mablethorpe Beach
Earlier today.
It's been the hottest day of the year so far according to the Met Office, 30C at Heathrow. Mablethorpe reached 24C, but importantly there was no biting cold wind!

Battle of Britain Memorial Flypast
Seen at Waddington Airshow last weekend. Here, a Lancaster Bomber can be seen with a Hurricane. A Spitfire was also present but it was doing a solo display elsewhere in the airshow.

Waddington Airshow
The Red Arrows RAF aerobatic display team accompanies the Sentinel R1 surveillance aircraft into RAF Waddington prior to commencing the display.
The weather was perfect for the show with blue skies and sunshine throughout the weekend.

The Ridge At Waddington
In the distance, fields of yellow rapeseed flowers can be seen. These flowers are very late this year: normally they're gone by the start of June.
