This is probably the most photographed castle in Scotland and has appeared in many movies including Entrapment and The World is Not Enough. A castle has stood on the island of Eilean Donan in Western Scotland since the 13th century, but today's castle is a 20th century reconstruction of the buildings that were destroyed in the 18th century.
Eilean Donan Castle has lots of tourist facilities including this picnic area, a large cafe, gift shop and car park.
