Higher Water

Higher Water

Water levels seem to be higher today than during the last deluge in late November.

The sunny weather won't last either, more rain is forecast for tomorrow.

In this photo are Wagamama restaurant (right) and waterfront eateries, bars and cafes (left).

The water is definitely higher on those boat ramps.

Usually, you have to step down to get onto the water.

  1. Hi there, hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. The water levels here do look a bit scary high, especially as you're just at the beginning of winter. I wonder if Wagamama's is getting a bit anxious? We have a Wagamama here in Perth also, haven't been though. We're the complete opposite here, very tight water restrictions, if only hey!

    1. Christmas and New Year was very good thanks.

I didn't realise Wagamama was an international chain. They certainly were anxious - the restaurant itself is well above the water line but that huge puddle on the left of the top picture created a moat at Wagamama's entrance. No worries: they'd created a long wooden drawbridge when I walked past that day!
