A pair of swans parade their new arrival at Whisby Nature Park nr Lincoln on Monday. Factoid: St Hugh of Lincoln is the patron saint of swans (& also shoemakers and the sick).
Very cool!
Beautiful composition...and that sky is magnificent along with the reflection.
I was just sitting in the hide watching the seagulls creating a commotion on the island when these swans drifted into view completing the picture!
St. Hugh has a very diverse patronage haha! Wonderfully composed image, the swans really are gorgeous when they glide past looking so elegant! I never seem to find any white ones here, only black..there must be some, I'll have to look harder!
I've not seen any black ones here. Will keep a lookout.
