A Cracker of a Building
The Ritz cinema first opened in 1937. After a couple of years of disuse the downstairs was made into a pub by Wetherspoons in the late 1990s. This year it was announced that the cinema will open again (the pub will remain).

Capt George Vancouver was born in King's Lynn in 1757 was honoured for his work in charting the Pacific Northwest coastline from San Diego to Anchorage in the late 18th century.
