The Guildhall (centre) was completed in 1966 and was Gainsborough Council's offices. It became West Lindsey Council's offices when the borders were redrawn in 1974 and in 2008 West Lindsey Council moved to new offices in the Marshall's Yard retail development. The Guildhall's future seems uncertain.
