Yep, nicely shabby. To think that when this was built the architect probably felt pleased and perhaps a little proud. Sadly there are building pretty much like this in most of our towns and cities. We should put a plaque on some of these buildings with the names of the architect, the builder and the person who asked for it!
With a bit of TLC it could look alright again. There is nothing as ugly as the recent past. But I think 60s architecture has gone through its ugly phase and is now starting to look classic, as longs as it's maintained. It'll be hard to preserve some buildings - those funny materials and concrete cancer to contend with.
