Skywatch Friday (Waddington Airshow)

In this photo Frecce Tricolori, an Italian display team, are trying to create the world's longest Italian flag (is that a Guinness World Records category?). The team were very entertaining - as well as their airborne antics, the Italian commentator kept the audience fully involved: "Another incredible manouevre" and "Get your cameras ready ... 3 ... 2 ... 1"). Well worth seeing ... and hearing if you get the chance.

  1. I've enjoyed all your images of the Waddington Airshow, especially the 'heart'.. what can I say, I'm a romantic haha!
p.s I'm not sure if you get a lot of spam but most people have removed the complicated verification thing from the comments bit, your pictures are so good I think you will have a lot more people visit, so many people will just not leave a comment when they have to figure out this new verification code.

    1. Thanks for your comment and I appreciate your advice on the verification code which I've now removed. It was at the default setting and I've never given it a second thought since I set up the blog. As blog owner you never see it yourself so it's easy to forget that others have to negotiate it.

  2. Not sure if they achieved the worlds longest Italian flag, but stunning shot none-the-less.
