The 18th century Cley Windmill, pictured, was once located on the sea, which is now now about a mile away due to land reclamation. The family of singer James Blunt owned the windmill until 2006 (source: Wikipedia).

This is the view over the marshes from the visitor centre. The wetlands attract a variety of birds and the centre has a large window, bench and binoculars for visitors' use. The building in the distance is on the beach.
