Local brewer Adnams has named a pale ale after this lighthouse, which dates back to 1890.
This clock was built in 1998 as a feature about water recycling.
The clock springs to life on the hour and the half hour (as indicated by the clock, which may not be synchronised to local time!). Water animates the various (humorous) sculptures as demonstrated in this 2 minute video:
